At the 2011 ascilite conference in Hobart on the 6th December I was honoured to receive a Life Member Award “in recognition of sustained and outstanding service to ascilite through significant contributions toward the leadership, key directions and core strategic activities of the ascilite community”.

This was the 10th Life Member Award presented in the 30 year history of ascilite.

I served on the ascilite executive for 12 years from 2000-2011 – six as a regular executive committee member, three years as Treasurer and three years as President.
